Our Story
At HER Hoops, our mission is to elevate the experience of girls and young women in basketball by delivering first-class tournaments, exposure camps, and ProAm events that redefine excellence. Founded by four women who are former Division I athletes, professional basketball players, and WNBA veterans, HER Hoops was created after we recognized a major need in the Portland area for platforms that truly showcase and uplift girls’ basketball.
As women who have competed at the highest levels of the game, we are committed to providing opportunities that are safe, empowering, and designed to support players at every stage of their journey — athletically, socially, academically, and professionally.
Our mission extends beyond the court. Every HER Hoops event is intentionally built to develop the whole athlete, offering access to professional players, mindset sessions, and meaningful exposure opportunities that prepare them for the next level. When athletes step into a HER Hoops event, they leave with more than a score — they leave with confidence, visibility, and a true sense of belonging.
